Normally I have about 40-55mbps...today email timing out, takes 5-10 minutes to send 3 mb of files.  Once again, totally unaccpetable performance from the world leader in sorry and lousy customer service...

On the phone with Comcast...it seems Comcast mail servers are undergoing maintenance last night and through today. I am asking for a $25 credit and the rep is saying there has to be some justification other than a failure on their part. Usual Comcast. Still on hold, 15 minutes while the rep finds a supervisor who can make a $25 decision. I will not give up.Still holding. The guy just got back on the line and informed me they just can be giving away money. Still looking for a supervisior but cannot find one sue to high volume of calls...on the phone now for 30 minutes...he did finally tell me that yes, the mail serviers have been down spradically since last night...never could find a super so he told me I could expect a call back within 2 hours...that was 2:10. I told him I had been through that game before...no call back after the agreed upon time...asked would he resign from Comcast if I did not get a call by 4:10pm today? Said he could not do that...ended the conversation about 2:15pm. Waiting.......Just got a call back from Comcast...they are refusing a $25 credit because their mail servers are down. I have never experienced this type of response from Comcast. Going to begin looking elsewhere. What I pay them each year is somewhat sinful, anyway. Comcast is so large now, that unless they took a major hit nationwide of fleeing customers, they really have no incentive to take care of the customer. I fear they will get so large, they will be the new Standard Oil of communication. Say NO to Time-Warner. And they want to build a theme park?
