I am now nervous that by putting in my password to try to log on to my accounts, the password may be compromised!

Check your user ID - - - I thought mine was my email - - but it was not - - - so the site never completed loading. It never told me I entered a wrong user ID - - - - Tech support was absolutely no help - - -did not even mention that. Check that you don't remember your user ID & see if it comes up with something different.
