Can't login

When I tried to change my password, I received a message that the site was down for server maintenance.  If this was planned maintenance, we should have been informed much earlier.  If this is emergency maintenance/recovery, there IS such a thing as hardware and/or firmware redundancy.  Two hours of downtime on this type of site borders on poor customer service.
