Unable to log-on and screen freeze

I am unable to log-on to online banking.  I've never had a problem until today, and noted that when I enter my lon-on name, the page then looks as if it is loading the security key verification page and nothing happens.  It just continues to load with no response.  Nothing by a white screen...
