no email or spam filtering-Manila tech center down?

since att outsourced email management to Manilla, their support structure is a disaster.  given the typhoon that just hit the Philippines it's obvious the company doesn't have redundancy built into their network management operation plans or they would have rolled the system to other distributed sites.  Somehow it seems technology and business management executives don't communicate with each other, or don't care for the health of their company's day-to-day business operations.  Can another Sony disaster be far behind with this kind of lax technology oversight by the senior execs?
