Have an iphone 5s and the bellsouth e-mail is not responding. Techs have been unable to resolve the problem!

bellsouth.net not receiving or sending. Message says I gave wrong user and/or p/w. I appears every time I check my email. Soooo, I "changed" my p/w and now, I seem to be locked out of my own email. I have another email address and am sending and receiving just fine. It is a lusfiber.net account. Thanks.
