AT&T UVerse not working well

Spotty, only occasional web access with my AT&T UVerse internet since about 4 pm PST.

At least the phone tech support (whom I was able to contact after a mere 40 minutes on hold) acknowledged, eventually, that yeah, there seems to be an area outage going on.  I'm in the San Diego area, El Cajon.
